chm文件（常用来做为帮助文件）的“搜索”功能是否只支持本地语言？

请教各位高手，最近我在用chm文件。发现在英文windows操作系统中，韩语chm的“搜索”功能无法使用。但是简体中文和繁体中文chm的“搜索”功能可以使用。其他欧洲语言,如法语，德语等的chm“搜索”功能都可以使用。在韩语windows操作系统中，中文chm的“搜索”功能就无法使用，韩语chm的“搜索”功能可以使用。日语的情况和韩语相同。请问chm的搜索功能支持何种语言是由什么决定的？它只支持操作系统的本地语言？请指教。谢谢
